SALDANLI
Mr. Saldanli was born in 1954 and completed his primary and secondary
education in Denizli. In 1975 he graduated from Istanbul Technical
University with a degree in electrical engineering, and between 1975-80
worked in the public sector.
In 1980, together with Mr. Ali Yagli, Mr. Saldanli founded ELSAN
Elektrik Gereçleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and in 1985 founded TÜMAŞ
Mermer A.Ş. Mr. Saldanli entered the energy sector in 1991 through AYDEM
A.S. Next, he took another important step in the energy sector with the
formation of Bereket Enerji, which was founded in 1995 in Denizli for
the purpose of meeting the power needs of partner companies. In doing
so, Bereket became Turkey’s first hydroelectric company to operate as an
autoproducer.
Mr. Saldanli is also the chairman of the ELDER (Electricity Distribution
Services Association) and plays an active role as an organizer for the
power sector.
Mr. Saldanli knows English and has a particular interest in
technology-related subject. He is married and has three children.

YAĞLI
Mr. Yağlı was born in Süller, Denizli in 1952, completing his primary
and secondary education in Denizli and then graduating from Istanbul
Technical University in 1976 with a degree in electrical engineering.
In 1980, Mr. Yağlı joined Mr. Saldanli in founding ELSAN Elektrik
Gereçleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In 1980 he also separately founded
Özpak Ve Birleşik Gida.
Mr. Yağlı joined Mr. Saldanli in the founding of Bereket Enerji in 1995.
Later in 2002, Mr. Yağlı, together with Mr. Saldanli, formed Bereket
Jeotermal Enerji Üretim A.Ş., whose mission is to harness economically
the geothermal potential of Turkey. Mr. Yağlı maintains his position as
the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bereket Group.
Ali Yağlı is married and has three children.
