Message from the
Chairman
To live is to accomplish; in order to accomplish, our most basic
need is energy.
The modern-day form of energy is electricity. The capacity of
electricity to be
transmitted through a thin wire and translated at high efficiency into
motion makes it an unrivalled and indispensable force.
Per capita electricity consumption acts as a fundamental indicator of a
given country’s development. In Turkey, this per capita electricity
consumption is, unfortunately, below world average. Moreover, 70% of the
resources used to generate our electricity come from outside the
country, while our own water, wind and other natural resources remain
untapped.
Bereket Enerji is a private entity whose purpose is to generate
electricity. In doing so, we stand by the following
priorities:
1) To harness local resources that would otherwise go to waste
2) To protect the environment
3) To contribute to the use and advancement of cutting-edge technologies
The projects we have completed are pioneers in Turkey, in which we
shouldered every risk and held no Treasury guarantees, and they are a
testament to the determination with which we intend to pursue our
ongoing and future work.
Our gratitude goes out to all our personnel and all of our colleagues
for the work and sacrifice that they have put into these efforts.
